Thirty-four local congregations throughout the Ecclesiastical District of Pampanga East participated in the blood donation drive on January 14, 2021.

The district supervising minister, Brother Alex Alimon, spearheaded the activity which was held at the Pandacaqui Training Center in Mexico, Pampanga.

Hundreds of brethren who volunteered qualified as donors after the screening.

Among the donors was Jewel Sibayan, a newly baptized member from the Local Congregation of NHA. She shared how blood donation has become significant for her especially after her family experienced the quick response of the Church in this regard.

“Being the only Church Of Christ member in our family, I was often persecuted. But there was an instance that it stopped completely,” she said. “My father had to undergo operation and so, was in need of blood donation. My family was surprised that the Church was able to respond immediately to such an urgent situation. They were amazed with the unity inside the Iglesia Ni Cristo. I hope one day they would also join me in this Church.” — With reports from INC News Section
