Thankful to God for His abiding love, brethren in the Ecclesiastical District of Bulacan, Philippines, celebrated the district’s 89th anniversary on August 16, 2021 by conducting a special gathering and a family fun day, both of which were facilitated online.

The special gathering was officiated by the district supervising minister, Brother Armando Manas, and was witnessed by brethren in various local congregations through videoconferencing. In his Bible-based homily, he reminded the brethren to safeguard their divine election whatever trials may come in their lives to receive salvation come Judgment Day.

“We thank our Lord God and the Executive Minister of the Church. Brother Eduardo V. Manalo approved all the activities in relation with the district’s anniversary. Happy 89th anniversary to all the brethren [in Bulacan],” Brother Manas said.

After the special gathering, the family fun day was facilitated online that saw participation of families all over the district.

“Even though this activity [family fun day] was conducted online, the brethren in our district wholeheartedly united in participating. We greet all the brethren in our district a happy anniversary,” Brother Richel Jhone Daniolco, district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, said.

The brethren were joyful not only for their anniversary, but also for the love and care of the Lord God through the Church Administration. Even if there is a pandemic or whatever ordeals and calamities, the Church Administration continues to guide the brethren by teaching God’s words and launching activities for their activeness in serving God.
