“Adding new officers is important because they are the helpers of the Church Administration in shepherding and showing concern for the brethren,” said Brother Carlito Gonzales Jr., a minister of the gospel.

The additional number of Church officers in various local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental took oath during a special gathering on September 26, 2021.

To accommodate all attendees, three sites were designated for the solemn occasion: the house of worship of Bantayan, Kabankalan City, and Sipalay City.

From the house of worship of Kabankalan City, which served as the host site, Brother Dante Mujar, the district supervising minister, taught a Bible-based lesson reminding the Church officers about renewing their lives for them to be deemed worthy before the Lord God and of the sacred duties He gifted them.

Eden Riofrir, a newly sworn in officer from the Local Congregation of Mahalang, said, “I accepted a Church duty because I want to help the Church Administration in caring for the brethren, for the glory of our Lord God. This is a blessing from the Lord God.” — With reports from INC News Section
