Brethren from the Local Congregation of Aguisan, Ecclesiastical District of Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental in the Philippines, gathered on May 28, 2022 in their fully renovated house of worship and rededicated it to the Lord God.

District supervising minister, Brother Amando Bariring Jr., officiated at the special worship service. “All praises belong to God. He has blessed us through the Church Administration this beautiful house of worship,” he declared.

In his homily, Brother Bariring reiterated to the gathered brethren that God blesses in return His true servants who give utmost regard to the house of worship, where His Name and glory dwells. He reminded them that God promised to listen to and grant their requests through prayers done, first and foremost, in the house of worship.

“The house of worship is very important to us. It is here where we seek of God’s help. This comes to mind first whenever we’re afflicted, be it a small problem or one that is more than we can bear,” Ramil Laurilla, head deacon, said.

Established on February 27, 1954, the Local Congregation of Aguisan recently celebrated its 68th anniversary. Its refurbished house of worship is about 29 kilometers away from the district office located in Mohon, Brgy. 1, Kabankalan City. Part of the general renovation, a Johannus Organ was installed and a pastoral house constructed. — With reports from INC News Section
