The Ecclesiastical District of Agusan del Norte, which oversees local congregations of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) in the province of its namesake in the Caraga Region of the Philippines, hosted a Binhi Forum, part of a Church-wide campaign that seeks to educate teenagers on the importance of choosing friends wisely.
The activity was held on September 18, 2022. Besides the house of worship of each local congregations, homes of brethren spacious enough to accommodate several attendees were also utilized to be able to reach out to all Binhi members.
In each of the venues, the attendees watched a video presentation on the qualities that makes one a good friend. Through it, they were reminded to be cautious in choosing friends because there are those who could influence them in having vices or doing evil.
After the presentation, Church officers who were designated by the district leadership as speakers discussed to the attendees how they themselves could also become good friends to others. Attendees were reminded to be models in speech, conduct, and way of living. They were also encouraged to be active in participating in Church activities.
Ministers, ministerial workers, and Binhi officers supervised the activity. — With reports from INC News Section
