Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Local Congregation of Port Moresby, Ecclesiastical District of Australia West visited on August 3, 2021 the children admitted at the pediatric ward of the Port Moresby General Hospital to give them relief packages and medical supplies.

While only a few of them actually entered the hospital, to comply with health protocols in place, the brethren hoped to be of help to the children’s need as well as to uplift their hearts. Their parents also received copies of the Pasugo: God’s Message magazine.

Leonie Wayang, a staff in the hospital, said, “Thank you so much, Church Of Christ, for donating to the hospital, [especially] to the children. They’re happy. This [aid] goes a long way to help them.”

Resident minister, Brother Regino Manangan Jr., who led the Aid to Humanity, said that this humanitarian event was part of their congregation’s commemoration of the Church Of Christ’s 107th anniversary.

On behalf of the congregation, Brother Manangan said, “We promise to continue uniting with the aim of our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, to give aid to those in need.” — With reports from INC News Section
