Airdrie Congregation holds Mr. and Mrs. Chef contest

In preparation for the upcoming district competition, the Local Congregation of Airdrie, Alberta, in the Ecclesiastical District of Calgary, held the Mr. and Mrs. Chef local elimination on May 15, 2022.
The brethren, including family members of the contestants, gathered at the Bowness Park in Calgary, Canada, to participate in the activity. The Christian Family Organization (CFO) Buklod local leadership organized the activity and prepared all the necessary cooking implements, supplies, and prizes.
During the activity, participating couples were given a specific span of time to prepare a main dish and a dessert. The couples prepared a variety of dishes including seafood, rice dishes, and sweet and savory desserts. They then presented their culinary treats to the judges for a tasting test.
Mr. and Mrs. Nestor and Melody Garcia won the competition and will represent the Airdrie Congregation in the district finals. — With reports from INC News Section
