All areas—clusters of neighboring congregations—in the Ecclesiastical District of Aklan, Philippines, simultaneously organized “Meet and Greet” programs on May 21, 2022 to foster camaraderie among prospective members under their care.

The local congregations of Kalibo, New Washington, Numancia, Ibajay, Caticlan, Altavas, Libacao, and Boracay hosted the said program in their respective areas, which they held in selected public venues, in coordination with the local government.

Officers from the host local congregations set up multiple activity booths including those dedicated for INCMedia, Coffee Painting, Beads Making, among others, for the enjoyment of the attendees. The prospective members played parlor games together and with the brethren, which made the former feel more at home and welcome into the Iglesia Ni Cristo brotherhood.

“I was excited when I heard about this activity. I know that I will not be out of place and I feel how the brethren welcome me in the Church,” Michaella Tobilla, a prospective member from the Local Congregation of Tangalan, expressed. — With reports from INC News Section
