Brethren from various local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Aklan, together with the candidates for baptism, gathered at the house of worship of Kalibo Local Congregation as the district conducted a baptism on December 15, 2020.

The province of Aklan is regarded as the country’s oldest province with a written history beginning in the middle of the 13th century. It is located in the northwest portion of Panay Island in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

Currently, the Church has established 45 local congregations and six extensions in the district, including those in the island of Boracay, a world-famous tourist destination.

In the holy gathering, Brother Jessie Vicente, district supervising minister, led the preaching of God’s words. Based from the Bible, he reminded the importance of membership in the true Church and obeying completely God’s commandments.

Safety protocols were strictly followed all throughout the sacred occasion. – With reports from INC News Section
