In connection with the district’s commemoration of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ)’s 107th anniversary, the Ecclesiastical District of Alaminos City, Pangasinan, Philippines welcomed additional Church officers during a special gathering on July 30, 2021.

The district supervising minister, Brother Rodante Elevado, led the holy occasion. Before the oath-taking, he emphasized to the attendees through a biblical lesson the importance of holding Church duties and remaining faithful in obeying the will of the Lord God. The house of worship of the Local Congregation of Hundred Islands served as the host site where other local congregations connected via livestreaming. This was done to observe health protocols implemented by the local government even as Pangasinan is under Modified General Community Quarantine, the country’s lowest quarantine level classification.

Among the newly-sworn officers were in the Christian Family Organizations (CFO), deacons, deaconesses, finance, technical support for videostreaming (TSV), and secretariat.

The new officers promised to dedicate themselves in strengthening the brethren for all to be worthy to receive the promised salvation. The other officers who witnessed the sacred occasion said that they are all the more inspired to continue performing their duties. — With reports from INC News Section
