In commemoration of their seventh founding anniversary, the Ecclesiastical District of Alaska held a special gathering and oath-taking of new Church officers on March 5, 2023. The holy occasion was livestreamed from the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Anchorage to other places of worship in the district.

Brother Astrophel Caraig, district supervising minister, officiated the special gathering. In his homily, he reminded the brethren about their Christian obligations, the primary of which is to worship the Lord. He also highlighted the relevance of their sharing of the true faith and upholding the intensive renewal of life to not only ensure their salvation but also become role models to their fellow brethren.

After the preaching of God’s words, Brother Leopoldo Ricardo, district edification overseer, led the oath-taking of those who were newly instated to hold office in the Church.

“The district reaching its seventh anniversary is a manifestation of God’s love. After all of the struggles and challenges that the brethren have faced in their lives, God showed His concern and protected them all through these years,” expressed Brother Caraig. Speaking on behalf of the district, he added, “We will continue serving God until the end. On the part of the ministers, ministerial workers, and Church officers, we will continue taking care of the brethren with much concern as the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, has for the Church.”

At present, the Ecclesiastical District of Alaska is composed of nine local congregations and three group worship services. — With reports from INC News Section
