With the stay-at-home measure still implemented in Alaska, even Church members are going through hardships. Knowing this, the Ecclesiastical District of Alaska sent relief packs to the brethren in need of aid on May 1 and 2, 2020.

Spearheaded by the district supervising minister, Brother Pedro De La Cruz Jr., Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers throughout the district delivered to their fellow brethren relief goods, as directed by the Church Administration through the Church’s Aid to Humanity project. The ministers and brethren in Alaska also donated basic items that other families would also need such as food, first aid kits, sanitizers, and other household items. Other beneficiaries included those who are in the process of joining the Church.

Everyone who received aid were truly grateful to the Church Administration for launching these kinds of socio-civic activities, that they will be able to get through during these tough times. The brethren said that they all the more feel the love of the Lord God to each household, manifest through the leadership of Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, the Church’s Executive Minister, and through the brethren who were instrumental in bringing them the aid. — With reports from INC News Section
