On January 11, 2022, brethren from the Local Congregation of Aritao, Ecclesiastical District of Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines attended a formal event in commemoration of their congregation’s 78th anniversary. Held at Cucina Lorenza, an events place a few minutes away from their congregation’s house of worship, the activity provided an avenue for the attendees, especially the pioneer members and Church officers, to look back on how God has helped the congregation grow and succeed in all of its endeavors.

During the program, pre-recorded video greetings from ministers who were assigned in the local congregation, as well as those in the district, were shown to the audience. Several song numbers featuring Iglesia Ni Cristo original music were also performed by select brethren during the activity. Afterwards, the brethren enjoyed a sumptuous meal.

“We thank our Lord God that through the Church Administration we were able to hold this activity. The brethren are joyful,” Brother Paolo Caldona, resident ministerial worker, said. Through the years, brethren in Aritao have seen Church activities succeed, even during the height of the pandemic. Brother Caldona added that “These successes inspire the brethren and strengthen our faith.”

Throughout the activity, the attendees observed health and safety protocols as the province of Nueva Vizcaya was in Alert Level 2 then. — With reports from INC News Section
