Amid the pandemic, the Children’s Worship Service (CWS) members from the Ecclesiastical District of Australia East found joy in participating in the online CWS Day on July 4, 2021. CWS is the organization in the Church Of Christ for children aged four to 12 years old.

Children from various local congregations in the district participated in the activity via videoconferencing. The program began with a screening of several INC Vision short films. Afterwards, the facilitators of the activity held games for the kids.

“[Online] activities like this shows how strong the brethren are no matter what is happening around the world,” said Luke Barbuco, a CWS member from the Local Congregation of Bankstown. He added, “Some of my favorite parts of the activity are being able to play games and watching some of the short films.”

“We saw how the children truly wanted to be here in the activity. When they heard the announcement from the Church Administration that we will be having this activity, all of them responded with great enthusiasm and activeness. And so, we can see a truly bright future for the Church Of Christ,” said Richard Esperanza, resident minister from the Local Congregation of Carlingford, who supervised the activity. ― With reports from INC News Section
