Australia East, Malaysia celebrate INC’s 107th thru virtual INConcert

“This kind of activity helped the brethren to all the more remain in their zeal and activeness in our services to our Lord God despite the current situation,” said Brother Emmanuel Era, assistant district supervising minister of Australia East.

In Malaysia, Brother Uziel Bongares, assistant district supervising minister, gave the opening remarks to formally start the activity. He reminded all in attendance through God’s words written in the Bible, that they must always be thankful to the Almighty God by remaining steadfast in the faith that is proven in their active worship and services despite all the hindrances along the way.

During the event, pre-recorded songs of praise to God and dance performances by the brethren, were streamed.

Among them were those from Bangsar Local Congregation who sang “Salamat po sa Iyong pagyakap (Thank You for Your embrace).” As well as the Northeast Choir that showcased “Bayan Mo’y Nagpupuri (Your people are praising).”

“Whatever situation that we may have, we will serve the Lord God. Even in the midst of trials or hardship brought by the pandemic, all the more we should give thanksgiving,” said Brother Felix Santos, Australia East district supervising minister.

He happily expressed, “To our beloved Executive Minister Brother Eduardo V. Manalo and his family and all the brethren, happy 107th anniversary of the Church Of Christ in these last days.” — With reports from INC News Section
