“Even if there is a pandemic, we rely and hold on to what God mentioned that whatever we do, we give utmost importance to proclaiming His words and shine as beacon light in this world,” said Brother Felix Santos, district supervising minister of the Australia East Ecclesiastical District.
With his constant encouragement, the brethren from all over the district continue to be united with the intensified work of propagation launched by the Church Administration. On July 27, 2021, they took active part in the online evangelical mission held, as part of their commemoration of the Church’s 107th anniversary.
Before the schedule of the evangelistic event, the brethren sent the link of the videoconferencing room where guests can witness the preaching of God’s words from the confines of their homes.
“We are fortunate because through the use of modern technology, we can spread the gospel to our fellowmen, friends, and loved ones through various social media platforms,” said Brother Renan Almario, the district Light of Salvation (LOS) overseer.
In his Bible-based preaching, Brother Santos emphasized the exclusive benefits of being a true member of the Church Of Christ. Despite the world’s current situation, he taught, God’s servants can hope for His blessings and protection, most especially, salvation on Christ’s Second Advent which is very fast approaching.
“The activity we conducted has a positive and inspiring impact, not only to the brethren who participated, but even to the guests we have invited. It is because now more than ever, what we need are the words of God that will help us remain optimistic in these trying times that we are facing,” enthused Brother Emmanuel Era, assistant district supervising minister.
One of the three ecclesiastical districts in the Australian continent, the Australia East District includes congregations and group worship services in the Republic of Vanuatu. — With reports from INC News Section
