To give Binhi members in the district an opportunity to know each other more through various fun-filled activities, build new friendships, and strengthen the love of the Christian brotherhood, the organization’s district leadership from the Ecclesiastical District of Australia West held a districtwide Binhi Summit on November 7, 2021.

From their homes, Binhi members from various local congregations participated in the activity through videoconferencing. After hearing advice from the guest speakers, KADIWA members Dolly Manuel and Danfred Varcas, about how to handle peer pressure as youth members of the Church, the attendees of the online event joined in several activities, including the meet and greet session where they got to know fellow Binhi members from other local congregations.

Most important of all, the Binhi members received spiritual advice through God’s words written in the Bible. In his lecture, Brother RJ Jaraza, the district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, emphasized to the young brethren the value of being respectful and obedient to their parents in the Lord and being steadfast in their divine election even at a young age.

“Attending activities like this is important because it does not  only give us a moment to socialize in times like this when it is hard for us to get out from our premises because of the current situation, but it also strengthens our faith and the love for the brotherhood while spending time together with people from the Church,” said Dawn Sanchez, a Binhi member

“I am looking forward to meeting new Binhi members because I only knew a few youth members from Melbourne and I thought it would be a very good experience to meet others from different states,” said Sabastian Ramos, a Binhi member from the Local Congregation of Melbourne, Victoria. ― With reports from INC News Section
