“It is a must that the donor is vaccinated [against Covid-19],” pointed out Venus Nuarbe, a licensed nurse and the Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) president of the Ecclesiastical District of Bacolod City, Negros Occidental in the Philippines.
Spurred by their concern to their fellowmen, brethren from various local congregations in the district participated in the district’s blood donation activity on November 20, 2021. The humanitarian activity was held in collaboration with Negros First Provincial Blood Bank (NFPBB) at Barangay Bata Gymnasium, Bacolod City.
Brethren between 16 to 65 years old who volunteered to donate blood proceeded to the venue of the activity and underwent the required screening procedures before they were allowed to become donors.
On behalf of NFPBB, a resident nurse, Rommel Manuel Bolivar, said, “I thank your organization.” — With reports from INC News Section
