The Ecclesiastical District of Bacolod City, Negros Occidental held a baptism on January 29, 2022 in four venues—the houses of worship of the local congregations of Mansilingan, Talisay, Manapla, and Bacolod City, respectively.

The house of worship of Bacolod City Local Congregation served as the host site. From there, the homily delivered by Brother Dennis Almasco, district supervising minister, was livestreamed to the other three baptismal sites. He conveyed to the baptismal candidates God’s expectation that they faithfully uphold all of His commands until the end to surely receive the promised salvation on the Day of Judgment.

Among those who were baptized into the Church Of Christ that day, Franchezka Therese Dublar said, “I am very happy because I am now a member of the Church. Now, I have the right to worship the true God.”

“The work of propagation is God’s work of salvation. That is why the brethren continuously uphold this commandment of God no matter what,” explained Brother Guillermo Fajardo, district Light of Salvation (LOS) overseer. “We will continue to share our faith so that more people will know more about God’s truths.” — With reports from INC News Section
