With God’s help, the Balamban Local Congregation recently reached the 70th year of establishment. To commemorate its milestone anniversary, its members held an evangelical mission, on October 11, 2021.

As part of the preparation, brethren invited their coworkers, friends, classmates, and relatives to the event personally and through their various social media accounts. They then brought their guests to their house of worship for the study of God’s words.

“Most of the people I invited attended the evangelical mission and listened to the words of God,” said Sheikha Angela Francisco, a secretariat and finance officer.  “I am happy that I have participated in sharing our faith, as part of our [congregation’s] anniversary.

In the Bible-based lesson, the Carcar City, Cebu Ecclesiastical District’s assistant supervising minister, Brother Marlon Francisco, highlighted the importance of membership in the one true Church established by the Lord Jesus Christ in order to be saved from the punishment in the lake of fire.

One of the guests, Ma. Aleila Cantero, expressed, “I was impressed because all the answers being asked were read directly from the Bible especially when the minister explained that the only way to be saved on Judgment Day is to enter the true Church.”

Brother Mark Lloyd Andrade, resident ministerial worker, reported after the said event that most of the guests expressed interest to examine further the teachings of God upheld by the Church Of Christ. — With reports from INC News Section
