Established in 1939, the Local Congregation of Bambang, Ecclesiastical District of Nueva Vizcaya, recently celebrated 84 years of God’s unending love and blessings.

Among the highlights of the celebration, the congregation’s members gathered at the Hillside Resort in Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines on April 23, 2023 for a musical program.

Supervised by the resident minister, Brother Geronimo Espedillon II, the said event showcased song and dance performances by select brethren featuring INC original music. There were also choral presentations from the various departments of the local congregation, as well as from the Buklod, KADIWA, and Binhi organizations.

An audiovisual presentation about the history of the local congregation, as well as its various activities over the years, was presented afterwards, which highlighted the three milestones of the congregation namely “Pag-usbong (progression),” “Pagyabong (growth and expansion),” and “Kasalukuyan (current stature).”

Watching these videos the brethren felt an overwhelming happiness, particularly the pioneers of the congregation who had firsthand experience of these three periods. “Through the video presentations shown to us, we were able to reminisce the years that had passed, most especially the admirable triumphs that God has blessed the congregation with,” said Michelle Tuguinay, congregation’s secretary.

Brother Jalem Mendoza, a ministerial worker assigned in the congregation, attributed the activity’s success to the Lord God whom, he said, they firmly believed helped the congregation throughout the years. “Not only the activity brought delight to the brethren but, most importantly, it gave inspiration to them to imitate the zealousness of the pioneering brethren who were instrumental to the growth of the congregation,” he affirmed. — With reports from Jun Rey Bumulo
