“Since I started attending worship services, it was then I realized that their [Church Of Christ members] faith is true,” said Ninfa Gicaro. “That was also the time I decided to enlist myself as a doctrinal instructee.”
On October 30, 2021, Ninfa was among the candidates for baptism in the Ecclesiastical District of Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental who were added into the Church Of Christ, the Lord’s fold (Acts 20:28 Lamsa). The holy occasion was held in the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Kabankalan City.
Officiating the event, the district supervising minister, Brother Dante Mujar emphasized from the Holy Scriptures the significance of renewing one’s life and giving high regard to Church membership to having the certainty of receiving salvation on Judgment Day.
Another newly baptized brethren, Haydee Gelogo, considers it a great blessing to receive true baptism inside the Church Of Christ despite the persecutions she encountered. “It is through prayer that I was able to overcome the challenges. I will continue to pray to strengthen my faith so I can reach the Holy City,” she said.
Now that the situation of the world is getting worse, newly baptized members like Ninfa expressed their invitation to other people that they “give time to examine the teachings [upheld] in the Church Of Christ.” — With reports from INC News Section
