Prospective Church members from the Winnipeg Region of the Ecclesiastical District of Manitoba in Canada received baptism that was held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Winnipeg South on January 31, 2020.
Prior to the baptism, the Bible-based lesson was preached by the district supervising minister, Brother Sidney Santos. He highlighted the importance of valuing their Church membership and introducing their faith to more people.
Meanwhile, the Saskatchewan region conducted its baptism at the house of worship of Regina Local Congregation.
The participating local congregations were Regina, Estevan, Saskatoon, Prince Albert, as well as the Group Worship Services (GWS) of Yorkton and Swift Current.
The assistant district supervising minister, Brother Rodrigo Malacad Jr., officiated the baptism. In his preaching of the pure gospel, he iterated to the baptismal candidates the blessings of receiving the true baptism—the forgiveness of sins, fellowship of the Holy Spirit, and the hope of salvation.
The new Church members said they will value their Church membership all the days of their lives. — With reports from INC News Section
