Less than two weeks after holding simultaneous baptisms during the last Sunday of November, the Ecclesiastical District of Negros Oriental held two more baptisms, this time on December 9, 2022, further proof of God’s blessings on the intensified work of propagation of the brethren from various local congregations in the district.
The baptisms were held in houses of worship of the local congregations of Dumaguete City and Bayawan City; Brother Renato Callejo, district supervising minister, officiating at the former and Brother James Jasper Villanueva, assistant district supervising minister, at the latter.
“My conversion began with an invitation to an evangelical mission. From that point on, having understood what was taught that night, I decided to undergo instructions in biblical doctrines. Now, I finally received the baptism inside the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ). Thanks be to our Lord God Who called me to be among His people in these last days,” Tessie Pis-an, a newly baptized member from the Local Congregation of Dumaguete City, said.
Brother Richard Rafols, resident ministerial worker of Dumaguete Congregation, said, “Because helping in the works of propagation is one of God’s commands, we encouraged the brethren under our care to help share the faith to many people as possible, for the glory of God.” — With reports from INC News Section
