As a result of the brethren’s continuous unity in the intensified efforts of the Church in the works of propagation, two ecclesiastical districts in the Central Visayas, Philippines conducted a baptism on April 29, 2022 that yielded abundantly.

In the Ecclesiastical District of Bohol, the holy occasion was held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Tagbilaran City and was led by Brother Nestor Acuzar, assistant district supervising minister. During his Bible-based sermon, he reiterated to the candidates for baptism the essential qualities they need to possess to be certain of inheriting life eternal in heaven. He emphasized to them the importance of being obedient to God’s commandments which they receive, especially during worship services.

Meanwhile, in the Ecclesiastical District of Negros del Norte the baptism at the Sagay City Congregation’s house of worship was led by Brother Raul Gonzales, assistant district supervising minister. During the study of God’s words, he expounded on the importance of holding on firmly to the divine election of being members in the Church Of Christ in order to remain having the privilege to worship God and receive salvation.

Brother Federico Tolentino Jr., Negros del Norte district Light of Salvation (LOS) overseer, said, “The Church Of Christ intensifies the work of propagation because it’s a commandment of God. He wants all to be saved and this will only be attained by joining the true Church.” — With reports from INC News Section
