With God’s help, the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) continues its mission of building houses of worship despite the pandemic. On August 21, 2020, Church members from the Local Congregation of Jabonga, Ecclesiastical District of Agusan del Norte in the Philippines, held the dedication of their new house of worship while strictly observing government-imposed health measures regarding public gatherings.

Brother Ruel Zapata, district supervising minister, officiated at the holy occasion. He preached from the Bible the importance of putting full trust in the Almighty God especially during difficult times. This can be proven, he taught, by never faltering in worshiping the Lord God and by obeying all His commandments.

Around 64 kilometers away from Butuan City, the ever-increasing number of brethren in Jabonga proved the need for a new house of worship. The brethren are very thankful to the Church Administration for building them a chapel where they could conduct their services to the Almighty. ― With reports from INC News Section
