Despite the current quarantine restriction implemented in the province, where individuals below 18 years old are prohibited to go outside their residences, teenage members of the Church Of Christ from the Zamboanga del Sur Ecclesiastical District proved that it was not a hindrance to propagating God’s words.

On August 13, 2021, Binhi members from all over the district united in spreading the Good News of salvation through their social media accounts. From the confines of their homes, they sent the links of the religious articles published on the website of the Church’s publication—pasugo.com.ph to their schoolmates, friends, and loved ones who are not yet members of the Church.

“I am happy that, despite the pandemic, I was able to help in the propagational activity launched by the Church Administration. Although I am just staying at home due to [safety] protocols, I participated because [I know that] doing so truly glorifies God,” said Ken Joseph Ariza, organist and Binhi president at the Macasing Congregation.

Although busy from her daily school activities being conducted at home, Janelle Rose Mayola, Binhi president of the Mahayag Congregation, ensured to give utmost importance to her God-given duties. “Not only we were able to spread the gospel through the online Pasugo drive, but it also strengthens our faith as a youth Church member because we were still able to fulfill God’s command despite the difficult situation of the world,” she said. — With reports from INC News Section
