The Binhi organization in the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe spearheaded an online seminar for its members on how to manage better their online schooling.

The activity held on February 7, 2021 aimed to educate young brethren to better deal with the challenges they encounter as they go through their online classes and thus manage their schooling in a more efficient way possible.

Jasryl Baldeo, KADIWA congregation president from the Local Congregation of Oslo, Norway, facilitated the seminar.

“To be honest, online schooling is a lot more challenging than it may seem. So, having this kind of seminar, help our young brethren manage online schooling to succeed with their studies,” she said.

The activity started with a general discussion about online school during the pandemic. Participants shared challenges they encountered in attending their classes online. Jasryl then taught helpful pointers, tips, and strategies on how to manage online schooling.

“The topic inspired me even more to attend the activity,” said Eric Hellstrom from the Local Congregation of Boras, Sweden. “That was very interesting to me because right now I’m studying online school so it kind of benefits me a lot.”

“I was very happy to be part of this activity because we not only received tips that can be helpful in school but also our daily lives,” said Kelsey Murania in German from Vienna Center, Austria. “Now I know how to finish all my schoolwork in time while still having time for myself and all my duties in the Church.”

Gem Lacuesta from Stockholm, Sweden said, “Holding such activities not only benefits us by gaining new knowledge but also edifying our faith. This also strengthens the bond between young brethren from other countries in the district.”

The brethren gave thanks to the Church Administration for a timely and beneficial activity, promising to actively participate in all Church activities. ― With reports from INC News Section
