“The Church Of Christ [Iglesia Ni Cristo] has always been supportive to us. So, to those who participated, took their time, and donated their blood, we thank all of you. The efforts will truly help save many lives,” expressed Jacinto Quimson, registered medical technologist from the Philippine Red Cross-Bohol Chapter Blood Services.

He was referring to the blood donation drive spearheaded by the Ecclesiastical District of Bohol on November 18, 2022 as a result of which more than 50 units of blood, each at 500 cc, were collected for the benefit of the above-mentioned humanitarian organization.

During the said activity, which was conducted at the covered court of Brgy. Taloto, Tagbilaran City, Bohol, the volunteer-brethren from various local congregations in the district underwent the necessary pre-screening procedures.

“As a first-time donor, I decided to went in the venue and donate because I wanted to help those who needed [blood],” said Brother Vhal Philip Domingo, a ministerial worker. “It was also my way of heeding the call of the Church Administration to do good whenever we can.”

Brother Raul Cervantes, district supervising minister, attested to the brethren’s unity in the said blood donation drive. “They’ve allotted time to travel and prepare for the activity because they knew that not only they would be of help to others, but they also fulfilled God’s mandate which indeed brought glory to Him,” he said. — With reports from INC News Section
