The officers and members of the Local Congregation of Bloomingdale, Illinois in the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Midwest have continued to strengthen their solidarity with one another and with the Church Administration as they commemorated their congregation’s silver anniversary.

“We are celebrating 25 years of God’s blessings to our local congregation. As their present resident minister, I am particularly joyful because I have seen how the brethren here uphold unity with the Church Administration,” Brother Raynante Romualdo, said.

On June 26, 2022, the brethren got together at The Moment in Main, an events place within the County of DuPage, Illinois, USA for a socialization activity.

Over a sumptuous dinner, they reminisced with the help of a video presentation highlighting the important events in their congregation’s history how the Lord God cared for them and sustained their spiritual life through the years. Recorded greetings of past resident ministers of the local congregation were also shown to them. Towards the end of the program, pioneering and long-time members of the local were given a certificate of recognition for their faithfulness to their Church duties and to their Christian service.

“Here in the Local Congregation of Bloomingdale, we [members of the congregation] really are a close family. We’ve always been there for each other. We started off as an area in the Local Congregation of Chicago and basically branched out from there,” Rachel Lynn Wiser, choir leader and head secretary, said.

“Brethren who have been here for 25 years strove and continued to fulfill the Church Administration’s instructions. And with our Lord God’s help, they grew not just in number but also in their faith,” Brother Romualdo added. — With reports from INC News Section
