On December 10, 2021, the Bogo City, Cebu Ecclesiastical District conducted a baptism at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Bogo, adding more members to the Church Of Christ.
Brother Mario Mabuti, district supervising minister, officiated the sacred occasion. In his Bible-based preaching, he highlighted to the baptismal candidates the precious privilege that they were then to receive: the hope of being spared from eternal punishment on the Day of Judgment. He went on to exhort them to hold on firmly to their divine election by faithfully obeying all of God’s teachings.
Upon taking their oath of membership, the baptismal candidates then proceeded to the congregation’s baptismal pool to receive their baptism. One of those who were blessed to become a full-fledged member of the Church Of Christ member that day was Maria delos Santos.
“I thank God for giving me the chance to be baptized inside the Church Of Christ. This is a great blessing for me. I promise to always attend worship services and I will not neglect my services [to God],” she said.
