To learn more about the history of the Church Of Christ in these last days, Binhi members from the Local Congregation of Bologna, Ecclesiastical District of Italy North watched three episodes of the Iglesia Ni Cristo Museum Virtual Tour on June 11, 2021.

They watched the episodes that discussed about the Bible, the first Holy Supper in the Church’s history, as well as the establishment of its first congregation in foreign shores—Hawaii.

The first episode was about the Bible, the sole basis of faith of the members of the Church Of Christ. Among the artifacts exhibited in the museum is the Bible used by Brother Felix Y. Manalo, God’s Messenger in these last days. It is displayed in a pedestal in order to showcase the importance of this book, in which God’s words are written.

The second episode highlighted the first glass cups used in the Church’s first Holy Supper in 1914. Other instruments being used in the Holy Supper was also shown.

As history attests, it was officiated by Brother Felix Y. Manalo at the residence of Atanacio Morte in Punta, Sta. Ana, Manila. The episode also explained how the Lord Jesus Christ instituted the first Holy Supper for the forgiveness of sins.

The third episode featured the scroll of declaration signed during the first worship service of the Church in the Far West, which was held in Ewa Beach, Hawaii on July 27, 1968, officiated by Brother Eraño G. Manalo. It can be recalled that the episode premiered on July 27, 2020 during the Church’s commemoration of its 106th anniversary.

Al Christian Ramos, Binhi local president, led the activity supervised by Brother Benjamin Unay, resident minister.

The activity aimed for the youth members not only to know the history of the Church, but also to have a more profound appreciation of the victories of the Church by knowing its humble beginnings.

“The expected results of this activity are, first, to add knowledge to the youth about the history of the Church. Second, to inspire them to give importance to their divine election or Church Of Christ membership,” Brother Unay said.— With reports from INC News Section
