To fight the anxieties and stress brought by the pandemic and to somehow help augment their nutritional needs, many people turned to gardening and planting as a hobby and food source. To be more successful in growing their plants, Buklod members from the Local Congregation of Botolan, Ecclesiastical District of Zambales North attended an organic fertilizer seminar held at Daylag Residence on January 7, 2021.

The resident ministerial worker, Brother Paulin Jolly Jr., led the seminar. He first showed to the brethren an audiovisual presentation that highlighted the benefits of using organic fertilizer. Afterwards, Luis Daylag II, Buklod congregation president, served as guest speaker. Showing how organic fertilizer is made, he demonstrated the right measurements and mixing of raw ingredients, which could be found at the vicinity of their respective homes. “If we would be able to develop our skill in this, we could do planting correctly and effectively,” he said.

The brethren were also given tips on how to help their plants acclimate after planting. On their behalf, Brother Jolly said, “We thank the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, for reinforcing activities like this. We will always be united with the Church Administration for God’s glory.” — With reports from INC News Section
