Bowling enthusiasts from congregations in the ecclesiastical districts of Western and Central Europe converged at Bowl Inn, a bowling alley at Koning Leopold III-laan 66, 8200 Bruges, Belgium, on June 5, 2022, for a friendly competition.

Dubbed “Bowling Masters,” this first-ever inter-district match between the neighboring districts was led and supervised by Brothers Ricardo F. Adalla and Marvin B. Adriano, supervising ministers of Central Europe District and Western Europe District, respectively.

Henri Hipolito, a player from the Local Congregation of Geneva North, Switzerland, said, “There is this friendly competition between brothers and sisters, which keeps everyone motivated. Then, for some, it’s been years since we’ve seen each other, so it’s with great pleasure that we meet again and share a moment of enjoyment like bowling.”

The keglers competed in five categories: Buklod, KADIWA, Binhi, and Children’s Worship Service (CWS), all of which had male and female division; and the “Family Edition.”

The following brethren won first place: Chris Racpan, Nerissa Tropel (both from CEU) – Buklod division; Jerald Pegollo (WEU), Kathrine Ramos (CEU) – KADIWA; Kevin Celetaria, Julianna Perrigas (both from CEU) – Binhi; Gabriel Camua, Angel Dunluan (both from WEU) – CWS; and the Celetarias (CEU) – Family Edition.

All top-three placers in every category and division received trophies and medals.

The Ecclesiastical District of Western Europe supervises the congregations in Belgium, France, Monaco, and two in Switzerland. Central Europe District, on the other hand, oversees the congregations in Germany, Netherlands, Luxembourg, as well as the other five congregations in Switzerland. — With reports from INC News Section
