Sponsored by its KADIWA officers, the Local Congregation of Capitol Hill, Alberta in the Ecclesiastical District of Calgary held a basic sign language seminar on January 3, 2021, through videoconferencing.

The participants learned how to express through sign language the alphabet, numbers, and basic greetings. Later in the seminar, the attendees also learned to sign out their names and make “sign names” for themselves.

The brethren were given quizzes afterward to make sure that they have learned basic sign language.

The brethren were thankful to the Church Administration to allow such activity because they acquired some skills in communicating through sign language. They promised that they will continue to learn sign language to share their faith with people who are hearing-impaired for them to know God’s teachings and they too, may reach salvation. ― With reports from INC News Section
