
Christian Family Organizations (CFO) members from the Local Congregations of Goteborg, Sweden; Boras, Sweden; and Jonkoping, Sweden in the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe participated in a management and leadership seminar on February 20, 2021.
The brethren learned the importance of management and leadership. They also shared inputs and had fun playing a word game.
Edith Saronhilo-Caraan, from the Local Congregation of Goteborg, Sweden, a financial manager, facilitated the seminar. She shared her insights in management and leadership. “This seminar improves one’s approach in every aspect of life and develops leadership capabilities.”
She added, “It is vital for us to continuously enhance our knowledge, acquire new skills, and improve our leadership through personal interactions with one another.”
Elizabeth Wiegandt and Fei Brillantes, from the Local Congregation of Goteborg, Sweden shared their experiences in the seminar. “The activity was very interesting and very informative. I enjoyed and gained knowledge that I can use in performing my Church duties,” said Elizabeth.
“This kind of event has a very good impact to the church because it reminded us officers, the qualities that we must possess as good leaders with great conviction and humility” said Fei.
She added, “It feels great to be part of this event because as one of the officers in the church, who is leading our brethren in our Local, it is very important that we know the qualities of a good leader for us to be able to carry out our duties righteously with a good heart and most especially in accordance with the will of God.”
