“Even before sunrise, brethren from various local congregations in the district started arriving, geared for cleaning up the seashore. They were so eager to participate,” remarked Brother Isaias Antinew, the supervising minister of the Ecclesiastical District of Bataan.

On January 21, 2023, he led a coastal clean-up drive that was held at the Strand Beach, Nagbalayong, Morong, Bataan, Philippines.

“Fulfilling,” enthused Lolita Rico, deaconess from the Local Congregation of Alauli. “It’s always fulfilling to unite with the Church Administration in all the Church activities being launched,” she elaborated, thus not minding the 30-kilometer drive from her house to the clean-up site.

Aside from being of help to the coastal community, the activity was also “a chance for brethren to bond together with their household. Hence, edifying the Christian family,” said Brother Antinew. —With reports from INC News Section
