Brethren from the Carmen Local Congregation, one of the 79 local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental in the Philippines, continue intensifying their efforts in propagation. On top of their online efforts to share their faith, they united in inviting guests to an evangelical mission held at their house of worship on May 6, 2022.

Seeing a great opportunity to share their faith, Church officers led the brethren in inviting their town mates, neighbors, friends, and relatives to listen to the words of God firmly upheld in the Church Of Christ.

Earlier than the appointed time, the brethren brought their guests to the congregation’s house of worship to attend the said propagational activity, which was led by Brother Marbuen Alipin, minister of the gospel.

Citing the Holy Scriptures, Brother Alipin highlighted that “faith alone” is not sufficient in attaining salvation. To be certain of receiving everlasting life come Judgment Day, he further emphasized that one’s faith must be coupled with actions, one of which is to join the true Church Of Christ.

Like many Church Of Christ members, Joshua Daniel Betoy, an officer in the Christian Society for the Deaf (CSD), grabbed the chance of inviting his friends through social media. “I’ve sent the links of our articles on pasugo.com for them to have a background about the Church [and its teachings],” he said. — With reports from INC News Section
