
With rejoicing in their hearts, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Local Congregation of Inopacan, Ecclesiastical District of Leyte West thanked and praised God for their new house of worship during the inaugural worship service that they held on August 7, 2021.
“We thank the Lord God so much for we were not forsaken from having our long-held dream come to fulfillment. Finally, we have been blessed a new house of worship,” enthused Condrado Madrazo, head deacon.
The district supervising minister, Brother Marvin Garlitos, officiated at the holy occasion. He preached from the Bible that true servants continue worshiping God and obey all His other commands whatever circumstances they may be in, such as those brought about by the pandemic.
Health and safety protocols were complied with throughout the worship service, including 50 percent capacity, as the province of Leyte, Philippines was under the Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ).
The new house of worship stands along the Baybay-Inopacan Road, Barangay Taon-taon, Inopacan, Leyte. It is situated around 70 kilometers south of the district office in Ormoc City.
On behalf of the congregation, Brother Ralph Angel Villanueva, resident ministerial worker, said, “This is a great opportunity for us to all the more be inspired in obeying all God’s commandments, especially in intensifying the propagational works of our local congregation.” — With reports from INC News Section
