In obedience to the teaching of the Bible to help those who are in need, brethren from the Local Congregation of Muntinlupa, Ecclesiastical District of Metro Manila South, actively participated in the blood donation drive on November 19, 2022. The humanitarian activity was held at the Brgy. Poblacion covered court, Muntinlupa City, Philippines.

A first-time donor, Ernesto Ocampo Jr, a Society of Communicators and Networkers, International (SCAN) member, said, “I’m happy to be part of the [blood donation] activity. I thank God for giving me the chance to help our fellowmen.”

“I’d want to thank the Church Administration for such activity where we can participate and at the same time be of help to save someone’s life,” Henry Lagaday, a deacon and another first-time donor, expressed.

The charitable activity was carried out in collaboration with the Philippine Heart Center, with the officers and members of the Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) in the district assisting.

“Blood is very in demand in our center since most of our patients has heart-related ailments so the help from the Church Of Christ is very much appreciated,” said Jeric Baluyot, a medical technologist from the Philippine Heart Center. — With reports from INC News Section
