As part of the commemoration of the 108th anniversary of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), brethren from all congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of New Zealand shared their faith and hope as true Christians with their fellowmen through spiritual songs.

Local congregations in North Island held the musical evangelical mission on July 17, 2022 in the function hall of the Pukekohe War Memorial Hall along Massey Ave., in the town of Pukekohe in Auckland, while those in South Island at the Aldersgate Centre in Christchurch seven days later.

In both activities, choral groups from various local congregations and the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) performed a number of Iglesia Ni Cristo original music expressing their faith and proclaiming the message of salvation.

“It is amazing to see how the activity has brought together such a large number of performers and brethren over the years to celebrate the anniversary, not to mention the guests who joined us,” enthused Brother Edgar Hernandez, district CFO overseer.

“This musical program strengthened our love of brotherhood and our faith in our Lord God,” said Cherry Santayo, deaconess from the Local Congregation of North Shore.

Brother Dennis Dahunan, the district supervising minister, expressed the brethren’s gratefulness and devotion to God. “Through the songs that we have presented in this program, we proclaimed not only our thanksgiving but also our solemn promises to remain strong, steadfast, and firm in our faith in God, in our Lord Jesus Christ, and in our love of our holy election,” he said. — With reports from INC News Section
