Moved by their desire to be of help to their fellowmen and to express their unity with the Church Administration, brethren from various local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Pampanga East, in Central Luzon, Philippines, actively responded to call for donors in the blood donation drive on January 14, 2023.

The brethren flocked to a function hall in Brgy. San Matias, Sto. Tomas, Pampanga, for the socio-civic activity that was held under the auspices of the Social Services Office (SSO) of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) and in collaboration with the Jose B. Lingad Memorial Hospital.

A donor, Edralin Roque from the Local Congregation of Magalang, expressed, “I’m glad because I was able to extend help to others and unite with the Church Administration.”

“I regularly donate blood because it has a lot of benefits in our own health. But not only that, we can also help save many people’s lives through our act of kindness,” Regine Rañeses from the Meysulao Congregation, another blood donor, enthused.

“Under the leadership of Brother Bhel John Ubaldo, our district supervising minister, we have lined up more activities like this to help augment the supply of blood in public health facilities,” Brother Rodel Mañebog, assistant district supervising minister, said. — With reports from INC News Section and Valerie Nicole Ocampo
