As the Philippine government was set to allow face-to-face classes, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from various local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Quezon North lent a helping hand in cleaning the grounds of public schools in their respective communities.

The most recent of these cleanup drives was held on March 27, 2022 by the brethren from the Local Congregation of Maligaya. Days prior, the brethren from the Polillo Congregation conducted such activity on March 20, while those from Langgas, Libjo, Regado Ville, and Real a day earlier.

Among those that benefited from the brethren’s efforts were Abiawin Elementary School, Alita Elementary School, Batangan Elementary School, Binulasan Integrated School, Polillo Central Elementary School, and Real Central School, where their kids or kins were currently or used to be enrolled.

Under the supervision of their respective resident ministers, the brethren cleaned the classrooms, scrubbed dirt off the gates and walls of the school compound, and also trimmed grasses in the schoolyard. Those with carpentry skills repaired broken chairs and study tables. Some teachers joined the brethren in the activity. — With reports from INC News Section
