The Buklod members from the Ecclesiastical District of Central Europe took advantage of their stay at home due to quarantine to hone their skills in English, one of the most widely spoken language in Europe. They participated in the seminar “English is Fun” on November 15, 2020, which was sponsored by their Christian Family Organization (CFO).

Malou Francisco, a Buklod officer, facilitated the online seminar. She discussed the topic “A review of basic English and common mistakes to avoid.”

One of the participants, Olaf Prodigalidad-Amme, said that they learned an interesting idea about the English language. “It is far very helpful for the brethren to get an insight into the English language,” he said.

Till Eggert stated agreed saying, “I have learned in the English language how to use the correct grammar, what is right and what is wrong.”

Church activities, such as this, serve to tighten the brethren’s bond with one another.

Jean-Paul Schindler, remarked, “Through this activity, we still have the chance to see each other, greet one another, and see the brethren’s happy faces.”

Brethren in this part of the world still have time to participate in all Church activities even in these uncertain times by means of advanced telecommunication.

“This modern technology is a big help to unite the brethren all over the district. Through videoconferencing, we can actively participate in all Church activities even in this time of quarantine,” Myla Pagunsan-Speidel noted.

They promised to always be united with the Church Administration in giving glory to the Lord God.

“The activity also gives way to know more other brethren from various local congregations in the District. This gives others inspiration and active participation in Church activities,” Jenelyn Santoyo said. ― With reports from INC News Section
