The Christian Family Organizations (CFO) members from the Ecclesiastical District of Central participated in various events that were held during the CFO Day on May 1, 2021.

Buklod, KADIWA, Binhi, and PNK (Pagsamba Ng Kabataan) members joined in the activities via videoconferencing.

Binhi members participated in a physical fitness exercise spearheaded by Neil Yacap, district Binhi president while Marco Mangilit, PNK officer, led the kids in the birthday greeting card making activity.

The Christian Employees Association (CEA) officers spearheaded the online legal consultation for laborers’ rights. Meanwhile, the Christian Brotherhood International (CBI) members conducted the CBI Cares through Study Material Sharing. Students shared their study materials with fellow students by bringing it to them personally or sending them online.

An online CFO Talent Search was also held and was open to all brethren for them to share their talents in drawing, singing, and playing musical instruments.

Sally Lopez, a special education teacher, shared her knowledge about tips and strategies in child care for children with special needs through an online seminar which was spearheaded by the members of the Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) and Christian Society for the Deaf (CSD).

The members of the Society of Communicators and Networkers International (SCAN) meanwhile, conducted an online Radio Law seminar that aimed to enhance their members’ knowledge of laws regarding the use of two-way radio.

In another activity, “KLET or KADIWA Leadership Enhancement Training refresher course was conducted to develop the Church officers’ skills in performing their duties,” said Joanne Cabangon, a KADIWA officer.

Lastly, the online Buklod Night with the theme “Buklod Dinner Date” for married couples gave the chance for husbands and wives to spend quality time together.

“Participation of the brethren in this kind of activity launched by the Church Administration is very important because it gives spiritual fervor in our services to our Almighty God,” said Brother Oliver Dela Cruz, district CFO overseer.

The brethren are happy to be part of the CFO Day launched by the Church Administration. Brother Oliver gave thanks to the Church Administration and greeted Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, the CFO Coordinator, a happy birthday. ― With reports from INC News Section
