Brethren from the Ecclesiastical District of Davao De Oro benefited from the Church’s Tahi sa Tahanan project on May 31, 2020. From their respective homes, brethren made household items like dust cloths and pot holders, among others, from scrap clothes.
In this time of crisis, though many people find it hard to earn a living, many brethren in the district were able to survive because of the Church’s livelihood project. Among them were Thelma Ybañez and Violeta Antonio, deaconesses from the Local Congregation of Mawab. Violeta said, “This is a big help to my household, we have something to use for our daily necessities.” Thelma stated, “Not only our basic needs were provided but most of all, we have something to use to continue performing our services to the Lord God.” ― With reports from INC News Section
