Brethren in Japan hold musical evangelical mission, greet the Executive Minister

On September 6, 2020, a day before Brother Eduardo V. Manalo’s 11th year as the Executive Minister of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), brethren from the Ecclesiastical District of Tokyo, Japan held a musical evangelical mission in commemoration also of their district’s 10th anniversary.

Brethren from all local congregations, extensions, and group worship services (GWS) eagerly participated. The event began with the reading of the message from the Executive Minister which was read by Brother Joel V. San Pedro, minister of the gospel, followed by the awe-inspiring performances that resonated praises to God.

Due to the pandemic, the event was held through videoconferencing wherein Church members and guests gathered at their respective homes while select brethren who performed INC original music observed preventive health measures.

Greeting the Executive Minister, ministers of the gospel from the district, together with their respective families, also took part in the event by singing the INC original song “Godspeed” which expresses a prayer for God’s guidance over the Executive Minister.

Joyful, Dan Bangcas, deacon and Buklod president from the Local Congregation of Gunma, Japan, said, “I thank our Executive Minister because despite the current situation of the world, he continuously makes a way for such events be held that truly enliven Church members.” ― With reports from INC News Section
