Brethren from various local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Malaysia benefited from a  kidney care webinar on June 27, 2021 sponsored by the district’s Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS).

The attendees were taught of the importance of taking care of their kidneys as they serve several important bodily functions primarily filtering blood, among others. The attendees joined the activity via videoconferencing.

Dr. Eleazar Ebreo and Dr. Judaline Alagon, CMDPS officers, facilitated the webinar. After the seminar proper, they both answered questions of the brethren regarding the topic and other health concerns of the brethren.

“Kidney disease is a major health problem that causes physical, emotional, and financial burden to a person and their family. If we are physically unwell, we cannot perform our duties and obligations to God and the Church. This is why the Church Administration chose this topic to educate the brethren through CMDPS by conducting a webinar,” said Dr. Eleazar.

“This webinar is important to our health. That is why I encourage my family to attend and listen to this helpful topic. Through such activity, everyone learned to be aware on how to take care of our kidneys, to have a longer life, and able to use our body in serving our Lord God,” said Rommel De Vera, a Church officer.

The brethren are thankful for such an activity that enriches their knowledge about staying fit and healthy. ― With reports from INC News Section
