Buklod and KADIWA members from the Ecclesiastical District of Masbate learned basic laws and selected human rights during a seminar held at the Local Congregation of EGM’s house of worship on February 28, 2021.

Ruben Franco Sr., a Buklod member and a Municipal Agrarian Reform Program officer, served as the resource speaker.

“It is an honor for us to share our knowledge to our fellow brethren. Since we Church members follow the rules and regulations implemented by the government, we ought to know and learn basic laws,” he said.

On the other hand, RTC Branch 44 Presiding Judge Maryflor Logarta, a Buklod member, discussed some human rights deemed helpful to the daily dealings of the brethren, or a citizen for that matter.

“We shared to the brethren some important information, especially the selected human rights for each one’s protection,” she said. “I express my gratitude to the Church Administration for allowing this kind of activity.”

Rosanna Franco, a Buklod member, said, “I am thankful that I was able to attend this activity that tackled about basic laws and human rights. The things we learned in this seminar will serve as guide to each one of us in our daily living and most especially in fulfilling our Church duties.” ― With reports from INC News Section
