Fully aware of the nearing day of salvation, Church Of Christ members in the Ecclesiastical District of Negros Oriental intensified the work of propagation as seen in the recent series of activities.

On February 4, 2022, a simultaneous Pasugo distribution activity was held by every local congregation in the district. Through the official magazine of the Church—Pasugo: God’s Message, the brethren introduced the Church Of Christ and some of its fundamental teachings to the people in their community. After encouraging them to read the magazine, the brethren also took the chance to invite them in worship services and evangelical missions regularly conducted in their respective local congregations.

Setting a precedent for other local congregations in Negros Oriental, the Local Congregation of Dumaguete City held two evangelical missions in one night on January 31, 2022. The brethren invited their friends, acquaintances, and loved ones to their house of worship to listen to the words of God. Brother Julian Tomarong Jr., the resident minister, led the 6:00 pm evangelical mission that day while Brother Warren Yee, the district Light of Salvation (LOS) overseer, led the study of God’s words at the 8:00 pm schedule.

In both occasions, the officiating ministers presented proofs from the Bible that the Church Of Christ is the one and only true Church that will be saved on Judgment Day. Thus, Church members are blessed for they have the firm hope to receive salvation and enjoy everlasting life in the Holy City. The guests were invited to make time to examine the teachings of God upheld by the Church Of Christ.

Motivated by her firm belief in this biblical truth, Rosalita Gaetera, a newly baptized member from the Dumaguete City Congregation, actively took part in the said propagational activity. She said, “It is important to let others know about our faith because it will lead them to salvation.” — With reports from INC News Section
